Our Staff

There are always at least two qualified staff members at each session and all renew First Aid qualifications every three years. ALL staff are DBS checked before they start to work with your children.

We maintain a high ratio of adults to children, which helps us to ensure that each child gets the individual care and attention they need. The ratios are 1:6 for three and four year olds, and 1:4 for two year olds.

Staff Training

We maintain an on-going programme of staff training.

Our association with local government and other resources ensures we are constantly in touch with new thinking in the field of child education and care. Some training courses are also suitable for parents, so please talk to us if you are interested in the possibility of taking a course.

We welcome volunteers from the local community to enhance our provision and we also welcome students from time to time. All staff and volunteers are required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and the setting is exempt from the Rehabilitation Of Offenders Act (1974).
